Top Tips for Beautiful Winter Hair

As the season changes from Autumn to Winter it is important that we change our beauty routines to look after our locks in the colder weather. Follow these simple guidelines to protect your hair during the next few months:

• Cover up - protect your hair from the cold and wind by wearing a scarf, hat or cap but ensure it isn’t too tight so restricting circulation to your scalp.

• Lock Moisture In - by using cold water to rinse conditioner out of your hair. As crazy as this may seem in colder weather, the lower temperature of the water helps smooth down hair follicles, locking moisture within and helping your hair to brave the elements.
• Dry Hair Only Outdoors - don’t leave the house with wet hair. Give yourself enough time to dry it before heading off to work or play. In very cold weather wet hair will freeze making it prone to breakage and remember prevention is better than cure.
