A Window to the Soul…

If the eyes are the windows to the soul then mine are playing re-runs of ‘give me a tummy tuck, caffiene and Pro plus please!’ The reason being??? Four month old twins. Yes, it is a good reason for all of the above. But to be honest, after a pregnancy that left me not only the size of Bournemouth but also looking like Anne Widecombe after a heavy night on the town, I’m now a little tired of looking like a scummy mummy!!

I have, however, discovered the art of no time makeup. I’m not saying that I look like a fresh faced Kate Winslet (far from it!) but at least I no longer look like I put my eyeliner on in the dark! The secret is Clarins Instant Light Perfecting Touch. I’m not usually a fan of concealer because I’m so naturally pasty that it normally looks like a small child has taken an orange highlighter to my face.

But, this stuff is FAB!!! Just take one look in the mirror ( yes, I know this is difficult ladies but suck it up!) Tilt your head down 45 degrees and then look up at the mirror – this is the worst possible light anyone can see you in. Then dab under the eye, following the dark line and blend. Voila! instantly more radiant and less knackered or possibly hungover! Until next time…
